Pelvic Floor Therapy

Pelvic Floor Therapy

Reclaim control.

Move forward with confidence.

Maybe you’re here because you leak during doubleunders or heavy lifts. Maybe it’s the unexpected dribble when you sneeze or the discomfort you feel during intimacy. Maybe you're preparing for birth or navigating the wild, beautiful journey of postpartum recovery—hoping to reconnect with your body and feel strong again. Whatever brought you here, you’re not alone, and you're in the right place.

We know how overwhelming and vulnerable these experiences can feel—not just physically, but emotionally. These symptoms are common, but they are not normal, and they do not have to be your new reality. Dr. Erika offers compassionate, nonjudgmental care in a supportive, private setting. With a deep understanding of women’s health she creates a safe space where you can feel supported, and truly understood—so you can heal fully and regain strength, confidence, and control in your body.

What is the Pelvic Floor?

The pelvic floor is a group of muscles, ligaments, and connective tissues that span the bottom of your pelvis like a hammock. These muscles support important organs including the bladder, uterus (in women), rectum, and bowels, and play a key role in:

  • Bladder and bowel control

  • Sexual function

  • Core stability

  • Supporting pelvic organs

  • Childbirth and postpartum recovery

When the pelvic floor is too weak, tight, or dysfunctional, it can lead to issues like urinary leakage, pelvic pain, prolapse, and sexual discomfort. Just like any other muscle group, it can be assessed, strengthened, relaxed, and rehabilitated through specialized treatment.

What is Pelvic Floor Therapy?

Pelvic Floor Therapy is a specialized form of physical therapy focused on restoring strength, coordination, and function to the muscles of the pelvic floor. These muscles play a vital role in core stability, bladder and bowel control, sexual health, and overall movement. Whether you're an athlete, new mom, or just simply trying to navigate the challenges of being a woman, our personalized approach helps you move with confidence and reclaim control over your body.
